Hilltop Consultants, Inc. was founded by Jim Turner in May of 2003. Prior to founding Hilltop Consultants Inc., Jim worked with another well respected consulting firm which served the legal community in Washington D.C. In his tenure with this firm, he provided sage advice to dozens of law firms on matters such as system upgrades, network support, and remote access solutions. After over four years with this firm, he decided to strike out on his own so that he could deliver the same quality services at a lower cost with a greater focus on the small to mid-sized firm.

After three years, Hilltop Consultants, Inc. has over 100 clients. In 2005 Hilltop opened The Hilltop Computer Shop, a retail walk-in location and service center.
